    July 11, 1949

    On July 11, 1949 the Brooklyn Dodgers played the New York Giants...........and the New York Yankees in Yankee Stadium.

    It was the Mon (off day) of the All Star break. The All Star Game was played the following day @ Ebbets Field.

    It was the Night Of Champions - Ruth, Gehrig & Herb Pennock.

    The game was a fundraiser for the fight against Cancer, ALS & Heart Disease.

    Each team played 6 innings - Three each against the other two.

    The fans saw a 9 inning game.

    I have seen the program and have photo copies of the cover and scorecard/rosters page.

    Does anybody have any info. about this game?
