Don't know, but Rose was second in the NL in PAs at 38, 39, 40, AND 41.

(Jeter also finished third in the Majors in Outs Made, for what it's worth).
Kid Gleason in 1905 with 699 PA, but not AB because he also led in SH with 43. He also led with 155 games.

        Never happened before.

This has to be the greatest season by a 38 year old SS in MLB history. At least, offensively.

He got his 200th Post-Season hit tonight. That's a huge accomplishment.

^No it isnt. its a worthless accomplishment no matter how you look at it. Only thing notable in postseason is winning, AND SCORING RUNS! Meaningless hits in a losing game is worthless.

You're right, and Jeter's got the all-time runs scored Post-Season record too with 111. He does it all.

Were you surprised that they didn't stop the game and shower him with gifts? What actually happened was TBS flashed the stat on the screen for 5 seconds, and that was it. That's exactly what that "huge accomplishment" deserved.

By the way, Jeter is the all-time post-season leader in outs made, strikeouts, and worst range. No one will ever break those records.

Perhaps your boyfriend A-Rod will catch the strikeout record, he's on pace with vastly less games. Way to troll into an accomplishments thread, you've hit a new low, even for yourself.

Not sure if it's been mentioned (and if so, I apologize for duplicating), but Derek's only 16 hits away from being the All-time RH leader in hits for the American League as he'll pass Paul Molitor. He's still a couple of years away, but Aaron holds the MLB record.

As soon as he reached 3,000 someone asked me what I thought about him reaching 4,000.I was stunned at the question. I couldn't answer right away because it was just too far-fetched and it had never occured to me that he could reach 4,000. It would take at least 5 more years, maintaning his current skill level and staying injury free. Not a chance.
Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to Yankee Stadium. Here are the lineups for todays game...

Well, 3,500 is my goal this year. We'll see, I want 4,257 at any cost.

I had no idea you were in MLB. What player are you, and how come you don't use your real name here?
