posey's gotta field a few games at first base just to get some relief from the rigors of catching. but i don't wanna see him over there at first any more than absolutely necessary.

Personally, I'd rather see Gillaspie at 2nd. He doesn't have a third base arm.

Scouts have always said he doesn't have the arm for 3B and that he should be switched. After having seen him throw now myself, I have to wonder why they haven't done it yet. You could simply flip-flop him with Charlie Culberson, who has played 3B professionally.
The San Francisco Giants won the 2010 World Series and no one can ever take that away from me!

In 2012 they did it again. Nope, can't take that one away from me, either.

G-Men are rumored to be sniffing at Orlando Hudson, released by the Padres yesterday. He's lost a little range at 34 years old, as well as offense. Does this mean that the Giants (as well as ME!!) are finally sick of Burriss? Does it mean that indeed Freddy Sanchez is done?

I`m afraid Freddy will not be a factor again. I really hate to say this because he was so great. Contact hitter par excellance and he is so badly needed now.I guess I am a pessimist but I don`t have much faith; with a couple of exceptions, with the present line-up. I dont see any offensive consistensy in the present linup at all.
