    You are correct.

    Which clue was generous?

I should have said 'clues'. All of them together was what helped. Anyway....

Here are some clues...This guy spent a nine-year career (5 years in the 80s) with the same team. He played in one all-star game.

Yeah, I eventually caught on. Would that be considered spamming?

I suppose we should put a limit on the number of guesses, so let's do this now. Head, torso, arms and legs add up to six in my book, so let's set the number of incorrect guesses at 6. On the seventh failure you're hanged, so we score one point for the hangman.

West Coast Orange and Black asks for an 'A'

There's the 'A', so I need to give a clue. This player led his team in at least one triple crown statistic for four straight years. By triple crown stat I mean HR, RBI, AVG. or W, Ks or E.R.A.

Nope, it's not Ruben Sierra. It's a 5-letter first name, 7-letter last name. That incorrect guess is strike one of six. Sorry, rules are rules and them's the rules.

Aye, 'i' it is. Now for your clue. This one-i'd player spent his entire career with one team.

    Alright, here goes:

I played 7 seasons, 5 of which were during the '80s. I played for three different teams in my career, one of which I had two stints on. I am also a member of the College Baseball Hall of Fame.

    Yes you can.

    _ _ _ I _ E
    _ _ _ _ _ E _ _

Clue: This player was either a pitcher or an outfielder (not both), and he either threw a no-hitter as a pitcher, or hit for the cycle as an outfielder.
