    Dunn,Peavy,Rios and Beckham

    I dont know what to think. Can Guillen leaving really change the chemistry that much?

    Last year these 4 guys had horrible years now their all comeback of the year candidates.

    1. Adam Dunn...The favorite of the 4
    2. Jake Peavy....Has had a very strong year
    3. Alex Rios....Hitting 282 a big improvement from last year.
    4. Gordon Beckham.....Starting to heat up. Makes me wonder if playing under Ventura is beginning to sink in.

    I know its a huge longshot but possibly?

    MVP-Paul Konerko
    Cy-Young-Chris Sale
    Rookie of Year-Addison Reed
    Comeback Player Of Year-Adam Dunn
    Manager Of Year-Robin Ventura

    We have arguably the best leadoff hitter in baseball right now too in Alejandro De Aza who is hitting 290 with a 373 obp and leading the American league in stolen bases.

    Alexia Rameriz usually takes awhile to heat up and he seems to be now and this Dayan Viciedo has been a monster of late.

    Kenny Williams has stated already that the Sox will be buyers and i'm guessing Ryan Dempster will be joining us. Humber,Danks and Floyd have had some good games but all three have been pretty inconsistent.

    Nice complete game victory for Chris Sale and lowered his era to 2.29 with 8 strikeouts.

    Dunn hit his 22nd bomb yesterday to tie hamilton for the lead.
    I think walks are overrated unless you can run. If you get a walk and put the pitcher in a stretch, that helps, but the guy who walks and can’t run, most of the time he’s clogging up the bases for somebody who can run. – Dusty Baker.

    I have had the pleasure of watching games at: Comiskey Park, Comiskey Park II, Wrigley Field, Jacobs Field, Municipal Stadium, Three Rivers Stadium, Miller Park, Yankee Stadium (The one and only), and Fenway Park.

    I still like Dunn for comeback player of the year but Alex Rios is really making a case too.

    I guess Guillen really could have become a cancer on the club.

    Miami is not taking the league by storm.

    While I'm not a fan of that jose guillen type of manager you have to consider that this miami team was a last place team last season. they had 2 very good additions with reyes and buehrle but to asume to add 2 stars to a last place team and they win the division is a little optimistic. I think that team was a little overrated to begin with.

    You can't really blame Guillen for whats happened in Miami too much but I thought he'd be better than this. I just feel he shuffles his lineups around too much and over manages sometimes.
