    2012 Giants Home/Road splits

The Giants road pitching is starting to concern me. The Giants have an overall 3.50 team ERA which is #4 in the National League. But this is being driven by their home ERA.

    2012
    2.42 Home ERA
    4.70 Road ERA

    Runs Allowed
112 runs in 42 home games
207 runs in 40 road games

The Giants are #1 in home ERA and #14 in road ERA. Basically on the road the Giants have one the worse pitching staffs in NL. This would explain their 19-21 W-L road record. I'm not sure what is going on here? In 2010-11 they didn't have such extreme splits.

    2010
3.07 home ERA (#3 in NL)
3.67 road ERA (#1 in NL)

    Runs Allowed
    272 Home (#2 in NL)
    309 Road (#1 in NL)

    2011
2.81 home ERA (#1 in NL)
3.62 road ERA (#3 in NL)

    Runs Allowed
    251 Home (#1 in NL)
    327 Road (#6 in NL)

Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls - it's more democratic.-Crash Davis

The Giants road pitching woes continue. Giants pitching gave up 24 runs in the three game sweep by the Nats. Ugh.
