New Orleans, Laquey, and Cleveland all rattle off 7-3 sims, while Seattle and Anaheim go 6-4 in the NL, and Asylum is the only team in the AL with a winning siim at 6-4.

The Angels will farm Soldier Boy Murphy and sign free agent Gary Wilson. He'll start at 3B and bat leadoff in place of the still injured Hartman.

    Express confirm this trade.

Rich, that leads to a question. This trade increases my roster size to 32. Do I need to drop a couple of players, or is this like the CKL and once opening day is done the rosters can increase in size?

And a reminder to anyone trading - pay attention to what you're doing. Through my own negligence, I didn't check on the length of the two contracts. I thought I would be getting Poole for three seasons and Zimmer for two - WRONG! They're both up at the end of this season, and no way worth a second round pick (it was questionable to me even with the extra years, but at least worth it). What looked good to me was in fact a horrible trade. Nothing here is intended to reflect on Garry, either, so please don't think that. He made the offer and negotiated in good faith; I'm the one who was careless and didn't check things out. I made an assumption that was wrong, didn't bother to check, and made a disastrous trade. I just wanted to remind everyone to pay attention to ALL the details when trading!

Negative Lew - you do not ne to drop anyone so long as your salary cap is under 100M

    Rule Question.
If I want to bench someone for PT% concerns does it have to be for a whole 10 game sim?

you can set their playing time to a percentage so a starter will not start every game

It's important to note that a player who is set as a percentage seems to have his playtime randomized to be inserted X amount of the time. So you might play 10 games where he doesn't play at all, then another 10 games where he plays twice as much as you wanted - it balances out to the amount you wanted, but not necessarily how you wanted it

Will leave player in vs. RHP and remove him vs. LHP. This should equalize him after a few sims. If that doesn't work I will reverse it for a sim or 2. That way, no extra work for Commish and his PT% should drop.

And although I'm certain he didn't intend for it to be public knowledge, let me give a tip of the hat, a lot of credit and thanks to Garry who offered to void the trade. I told him it was my own fault and there was no reason he should suffer for it, but I think it showed a great deal of integrity from a good owner.

I did the same thing when I was looking at acquiring Poole. I looked at his stats on Baseball-Reference.com and was as interested in his 1903 season as I was this year. It was only after I did some additional due diligence that I realized that he was only signed for this year. Again, no reflection on Garry; only that it's an easy thing to overlook when negotiating a trade.

I third the motion regarding Garry. From those of you who have kept track of trades in the CKL, you know that Garry and I (Dust Bunnies) have traded frequently. I always know that dealing with Garry will be a fun experience, whether or not we actually pull off a trade in a given instance.

Craig put his lineup changes in the Free Agency thread by mistake. I've copied and pasted the changes he requested here.

    Lineup vs RH and LH
    CF Dobbs (Lush)
    1B Jennings (Tenney 50%)

    SS Davis (Jennings)
    3B Leach (Smith)
    DH Jones (Jennings)
    C Kling (Peitz)
    2B Smith (Peitz)
    RF Lush (Hendricks)
    LF McAllister (Dobbs)

Put Watty Lee into the rotation in Kitson’s spot and make it a 4 man strict rotation.
