This story has a bit of the same tone... (Sent to me by the Montreal chapter of the SABR.)
But what's puzzlin' you is the nature of my game...

Cool. More teams for ESPN to essentially ignore.

This. ESPN cares about New York, LA, and Boston and Chicago when it suits them.

Well, every other team rates about as well as a test pattern.

I too would like the Expos (relocated Rays) and the Blue Jays in the same division but the user 'Paul W' posted an article that revealed that the Olympic Stadium architect believes the stadium has some structural faults and may be unsafe to use as a temporary venue. So all the work completed by the Montreal Baseball Project might be done in vain. Their feasibility study will be due in the fall. Let's hope it's good news for the Montreal baseball community.

There may well be issues, but I don't think Roger Taillibert has any access to the site in order to make a judgment. Taillibert's design has been called impractical for the location (the weight of the concrete caused sinking, which is why construction on the tower was stopped, and it was eventually completed using steel), and it's unsurprising that Taillibert would cast blame on those constructing the venue.
