Why did the Brewers change their caps? Why do we run from color? Why do we settle for bland conservative designs? Why don't they cater to the fun demographic? One size fits all has taken over uniform design, ballpark design. Conformity must be stopped.

Funny, the Brewers cap that I'm after just has a plain block letter M on it...nothing fun and the definition of conservative logos.
That said I also want a Seattle Pilots cap, not just for the Brewers tie in but also because it has a design on the bill.

You call yourself a Brewers fan wearing a plain 'M' cap? You need to be wearing the 'mb mitt' cap. That was one of the best of all time. Like I said in another thread, retiring the cap and sporting the assorted dung the Brewers have had all the subsequent years was criminal. Unfathomable. The Brewers had the perfect look in 1993 and they threw it all away. For what?

Oh no, I'm both a collector and a completest too. I have the ball and glove cap (as well as the alternate pinstripe jersey to go with it). That said, I need to hurry up and order the ball and glove cap with the yellow front panel.

I say no to fitted caps. The ones I had during my youth have all shrunk to unwearable sizes. The only one I have now is one I bought in 2004 and it's a "flex fit" hat, which makes the most sense to me when buying a fitted hat. Also, you don't have to have a snap band to have an unfitted hat; I have some with a cloth band that's easier to adjust and is more durable than the plastic snap bands.

The last time you bought a fitted cap was around 9 years ago? I've had experience with Twins Enterprises/47 Brand, American Needle and of course New Era. New Era for example has made some changes to its caps, for example, the underbrim is now black, they now offer a low crown 59Fifty cap made of polyester instead of wool. Don't swear off fitted caps until you've tried one on. 9 years is a long time.

it shrunk or you grew? as phantom mentioned also, mlb fitteds now are mainly polyester, which means they really dont shrink at all

    False Advertising

Beware of false advertising from the site:
    http://www.minorleagues.com/mlblowcrown.html/

They falsely advertise wool American Needle caps as "performance fabric" New Era 59Fifty low crown caps.

So which one is correct? The New Era model looks way too dark to me.

I don't know which is correct, but I would prefer the darker shade of blue. The thing is, New Era's regular 59Fifty cap has such a high crown, you're likely to look like a train conductor.

Looking forward to see a New Era cap, with no MLB logo on the back and a green underbrim. Via mickeysplace.com

Whomever designed Brazil's WBC cap must like the Milwaukee Brewers:

    New Era caps

Can I assume that a wool New Era cap with a green underbrim and no MLB logo on the back is deadstock?

San Francisco Giants Bruce Lee merchandise. Another missed opportunity by the Mariners marketing team.

The White Sox gave away knit bombers to the first 20,000 fans for today's game. Very nice. The White Sox should go back to this color scheme full-time.

They should make the team wear those in a game along with throwback '70s collared pullover and shorts uniforms.
