Unless the White Sox wore 2 or 3 different BP jerseys during that time.

    Mets

My condolences to Mets fans, your team, with Majestic, absolutely ruined the franchise's best uniforms. "High cuffed" & "pajama-style" pants are equally bad. 1986 it is not.

The 1979 Pirates throwbacks are a complete waste of time.

I really wish you would quit saying that the modern throwbacks are a waste of time. It's what the players generally want. Do you know who the company is that made the colorful batting practice jerseys you also like so much?
48 wins to match last year's total

I don't care what the players want, I want the game to look good. As for the BP jerseys, I know Majestic made a bunch of them, of course, that was over 25-30 years ago. I actually had a Majestic Mariners BP jersey, circa 1993. Yeah, one of the two buttons fell off after a wash, yet another reason for a button-free baseball world. We can do it, we just need to be even more demanding.

1990? 1988-92 was the Reds' best uniform. What a shame it wasn't worn at the real Crosley and isn't still worn today. Baseball, fix this.

As I am sure you know since you love the look, the buttonless pullover + sansbelt pant uniform was debuted by the Pirates in July 1970 when they opened Three Rivers. The Reds closed down Crosley a month prior to this. So are you bemoaning the premature closure of Crosley Field or the delayed release of sansbelt technology?

The 1988-1992 Reds Uniforms are really solid, but the best baseball uniform (IMO) is the 1972-1987 version which is identical but lacks the double red stripe on the pant legs (also pictured here is Bruce Bochy showing off a really solid Padres set).

Exactly. If you can't play the game on AstroTurf, at least wear pants with a sansbelt.

    Astros

We know how the world is demanding pullover jerseys to be made the standard in baseball, but what about zipper-front?

    Pirates

Dave Parker in an underrated Pittsburgh Pirates uniform. Pullover jerseys and sansabelt baseball pants with the striped waistband, the Ultimate Baseball Look during the Golden Age of the Baseball Uniform. These are the things that need to be brought back and celebrated.
