Ebbets Field Flannels didn't quite get the 1977 Seattle Mariners font correct for this 1997 Turn Back the Clock Game.

It's great to see that there are still teams that get it. The St. Louis Catholic high school in Lake Charles, Louisiana has baseball uniforms that look like the 1980s Mets. V-neck pullover jerseys with both pinstripes and racing stripes! Grow the game!

The countdown is on as we anticipate the celebration of 1990 Cincinnati Reds, the last World Series champs to wear real baseball uniforms! The sansabelt baseball pants have arrived at the Great American Ballpark clubhouse! The buttons may not have been white on the original, but it's close enough!

Barry Larkin walks the red carpet in a Cincinnati Reds v-neck pullover jersey.

The Cincinnati Reds "partied like it was 1990" Friday night even if they didn't really dress like it was 1990. Details, shmetails. "High cuffed" pants and soccer socks didn't exist in 1990 but so what?

You can't please everybody, we already know Hendrick is credited/blamed for bringing long pants into baseball and by 1990, high top spikes were trending...
I wasn't crazy about Majestic's half-assed effort, but judging by the tweets Friday night, the Reds "1990" uniforms, even the baggy 2015 version were loved by the majority of the people. The fans are over buttons and belts.

Barry Larkin of the Cincinnati Reds does his best Ozzie Smith impression in a v-neck pullover jersey and sansabelt baseball pants, the Ultimate Baseball Look, during the Golden Age of the Baseball Uniform!

From the CCSLC user "Djruggs", a concept for the Oakland Athletics. Imagine, real athletic wear for a team called the Athletics, it makes perfect sense. V-neck pullover jerseys and sansabelt baseball pants. Lew Wolff, buddy, make it happen, for us, the fans, and for baseball.

Jose Cano, Robinson.Cano's father, pitched briefly for the Houston Astros. V-neck pullover BP jersey.

Someone brought up the issue of comfort when talking about the Ultimate Baseball Look, v-neck pullover jerseys and sansabelt baseball pants, let's just say this, they're comfortable okay, they're very comfortable. Just ask any current Michigan Wolverines baseball player.

The Red Sox will wear 1975 throwbacks tonight. I'm personally not a fan, but that uniform is really one of the few where striped stirrups actually make any sense since the jersey and pants are so blah.

1995 Orix Blue Wave yearbook featuring an Ichiro Suzuki cartoon illustration. We note the similarities to the Seattle Mariners uniforms, pullover jerseys with a royal blue and gold color scheme.

The Pittsburgh Pirates Sunday throwback pullover jerseys are the best jerseys currently in Major League Baseball. That said, what does that say about the rest of the sport?

Happy Birthday to the Houston Astros Kevin Bass and Yogi Berra! The fans want pullover jerseys and sansabelt baseball pants back! They want another Golden Age of the Baseball Uniform!

The people simply prefer pullover jerseys over anything else in overwhelming fashion too! They also love racing stripes as well.
Wednesday was also the Reds' Jose Rijo's 50th birthday. Rijo was the last World Series MVP who wore a real baseball uniform, v-neck pullover jerseys and sansabelt baseball pants, during competition.

Today is Tony Perez's birthday. When Ken Griffey Jr. was traded to the Cincinnati Reds in 2000, Perez refused to allow Griffey to wear #24, so Junior chose his dad's number 30. Was Perez right? Is that a quality we should admire? Did he have the stature with the Reds and the game to deny one of the best what he wanted?

Former Yankees Joe DiMaggio, Roger Maris, Hank Bauer, Mickey Mantle and Whitey Ford congratulate former teammate Oakland A's manager Billy Martin for living life, free of buttons and belts during the Golden Age of the Baseball Uniform in 1981 at the Oakland Coliseum!

The Oakland A's and Toronto Blue Jays wearing the Ultimate Baseball Look during the Golden Age of the Baseball Uniform. The A's in their Sunday best and the Blue Jays in the greatest powder blue uniforms ever! V-neck pullover jerseys and sansabelt baseball pants! This is how baseball is supposed to look!

David Wells in the Toronto Blue Jays uniform, the fans, the players and management should endorse. Powder blue, v-neck pullover jersey, sansabelt baseball pants with no high-cuffed silliness, just simply, the Ultimate Baseball Look.
