In 1995, he only started four games due to injuries, but from 1993 to 1996 Milwaukee’s Cal Eldred compilied records of 16-16, 11-11, 1-1, and 4-4. If he had won his last start of the 1997 season on September 25, Eldred would have evened his 1997 record at 14-14, but he lost 2-1 to Kansas City (despite giving up only two runs in eight innings) and ended the season at 13-15.
