Anyone have any experience with their custom gloves?

No personal experience. Made in Mexico. Same factory as Rolin.
Some decent reviews on glove-works forum (modern golves---->made in MX)
Just went through their glove builder, and was pretty easy to use. Nice color options.
The company selling them has some you tube videos of them, but hard to tell much there.
Turnaround time seems much better than what I have heard Akadema takes on their customs

A few kids I do lessons with have them, and they seem to be pretty good gloves. They come softer than a new Rawlings/Wilson/Muzuno, so I don't know how well they would hold up to longer term use.If a tie is like kissing your sister, losing is like kissing you grandmother with her teeth out. - George Brett

SST headguards, anyone tried them?
With all the discussion on head injuries vs the horrible "helmets" that have been shown, I wonder if anyone has seen or tried these products? They seem a touch expensive, until you realize what you're protecting. Carbon fiber, so super light, and super strong.
It seems this may be a good option to protection vs aesthetics. Serious question though, has anyone tried them?

I ordered a set of these as well as an unequal dome. dome came first so my son wore it in his tournament last weekend. didn't get to "test" it for functionality (thankfully), but he said it was comfortable and would continue to wear it.
when the SST comes in I'll have him try it out. like you said, it looks pricey until you remember what it's protecting.

I would just wonder how big the hand stalls are and if it's a good fit for a 10 year old or not. I'd definitely be interested to know how it works out. Update us after Christmas if you think about it.Note: The above post is from a novice baseball father with about 3 years of casual hitting/baseball researching experience. At no point should any advice herein be taken as undebatable truth. :noidea:
