    2015 White Sox Season Thread

It's no longer the offseason, can new additions Melky Cabrera and Jeff Samardzija help Jose Abreu and Chris Sale make the White Sox contenders for the American League Central title?

"I have the ultimate respect for Whitesox fans. They were as miserable as the Cubs and Redsox fans ever were but always had the good decency to keep it to themselves. Alexi Ramirez's brain cramps are really starting to bother me.
If the White Sox has not traded Sammy Sosa, they'd have probably won a few more World Series. (Chadwick)

Darn, do we suck or what? Melky still does nothing for me.

We just don't have enough hitters.

                    Still way too generous.

I heard on WGN the other day that Ozzie Guillen is coming back. The source was Bob Sirot. Not sure what to make of this because I haven't heard anything since.

Guys, this is a dumb Sox team. They misplay the ball at the worst times.

Abreu - butcher in the field. A born DH.
                          Melky - disaster all around.
Eaton - probably midway skillwise between what we saw last year and this.
Alexi - wouldn't mind him going.
Catchers - a big sack of bad.
LaRoche - terrible start, but doing better lately (except for the 4 whiff game). Needs to be in the field.

At least we have some pitching talent, but our team on the field ain't very impressive.

Pains me to the core to say this, but the Cubs young talent is SO much better.

Yeah, he is starting to take some heat. I'd be surprised if he was let go during the season, not enough material for the next guy to work with. Our minor leagues have sucked big time for developing position players. Our offense is horrible, and I don't see much help in the future.

I was talking to some Cubs friends, and I jokingly said "Chris Sale for Kris Bryant?" It might have to be something like that, as we're desperate at C, 2B, 3B, LF and perhaps SS, CF.
