At least 500 hits with 4 different teams

Only one player in major league history has accomplished this feat.

Name him.....and name the 4 teams that apply here.

Roberto Alomar came very close to being the second.

        Toronto: 832
        Cleveland: 564
        San Diego: 497
        Baltimore: 496

The next closest to Staub and Alomar with 4 teams is:
              Fred McGriff
              Atlanta 700
              Tampa Bay 603
              Toronto 540
              San Diego 382

Since 1901 there are 3 guys who have 200+ with 5 or more franchises (Jack Glasscock and Tom Brown were pre-1901).

              Roberto Alomar
              Toronto: 832
              Cleveland: 564
              San Diego: 497
              Baltimore: 496
              New York Mets 226

              Gary Sheffield
              Los Angeles 583
              Florida 538
              Atlanta 341
              Milwaukee 287
              San Diego 260
New York Yankees 216 and counting

              Don Baylor
              LA at Anaheim 813
              Baltimore 82
              New York Yankees 401
              Boston 220
              Oakland 205

So Sheffield is the only one with 250+ with 5 or more teams. He entered this season with 166 for the Yankees so he most likely will add a 6th team before the year is over.

edited to update Sheffield's Yankee total

Since Sheff has 50 hits so far this season, he has gotten over 200 with the Yanks.
