Its kind of hard cuz i havent heard anyone much at other games but,.....
Phil Nevin- Symphony of destruction when he was with the padres
Trevor- Entering the game to Hell's Bells its an awesome thing the way the entire PETCO lights up to that tune and they have it down so well.

Now I have to say Rivera entering to Enter Sandman sounds awesome.

But there might be nothing in this world that makes me want to gouge out my own eyes with my own thumbs than hearing that stupid song. Not because of the Red Sox connection. Because of the stupid singalong "wo-oh-oh" that makes blood pour out my eyes.

That would suck alot, ive always wanted to go to a game in fenway but dang.... im 6'3" 230 (not obese loads of martial arts and wieght training)so i might as well forget it, but the experience sounds cool, whats yankee stadium like? im planning a road trip out east some time in the next year or two when i get out of college to see some games on the east cost.

JM: Only did that for a couple of years and then we had a conspiracy so it kind of turned me sour. Our league's commissioner, Lew Ford(notes) at the time, was doing some shady things that ... I'd rather not talk about [laughs].
DB: Isn't he in Japan right now?
JM: I don't know where Lou is right now. He's probably fleeing the authorities [laughs].

Pathetic. I have lost all respect for him.

If I were an MLB hitter, I'd love to walk to the plate while listening to Bulls on Parade. Gets me pumped every time I hear it.

The best at-bat music was Chipper Jones with Ozzy's "Crazy Train".

Yankee Stadium is amazing. Few simple things to sum it up:

    1. Don't even THINK about driving there. I used to drive in when I was litigating in the Bronx Count Courthouse every day (the courthouse is about two blocks from the Stadium, so I'd use the stadium parking lots), and there's about 500 total parking spaces (plus, driving in NYC isn't really something that people unfamiliar with the area are in any way prepared for). Take the A train from any of the midtown Manhattan stops to 161st St. / Yankee Stadium, it lets out right next to the ballpark.

    2. Bleacher seats are cheap and awesome, but the crowd can get a little hostile for non-Yankee fans (as I know you're relatively anti-Yankee, you probably wouldn't have a good time there). Because the upper deck overhangs the field, pretty much every seat in the house is a great one. Try the right field upper deck; the last time I got tickets up there (two years years ago) they were only $12, and you're literally right on top of the action (too close to see a ball that runs all the way to the rightfield wall, but perfect view of everything else).

    3. The experience is literally unbelievable. The bars outside the stadium are an absolute madhouse before and during games (I usually try and catch playoff games from one of the bars on River Ave, because tickets are impossible to get and the atmosphere is still spectacular), and the interior architecture is just drop dead gorgeous... my friend who came out from LA literally stopped dead in his tracks when he first walked out of the tunnell, and couldn't move for about ten seconds... and he's not even a baseball fan.

    4. Don't expect any bells and whistles. No fancy gourmet food courts or kid's rides or anything like that. Just an amazing ballpark experience.

Secret hint: The upper deck is partially roofed over, but there are window slits along the very last row in the upper deck. From the windows in the area just to the foul side of the right field foul pole in the upper deck, you can get an absolutely breathtaking view of the Manhattan skyline.

Aack, now you've confused the west coaster. Like the Cali crowd isn't confused enough already. Remember, they live west of the Hudson River.

Anywayz, only the #4 and D train will take you straight to Yankee Stadium. If you take the A train (like Duke Ellington famously advised), change to the D at 59th/Columbus Circle or 125th St in Harlem.

I'm still not sure if that's the Bronx Courthouse or House of Detention. Either case, not very far for unruly Yankee fans (as well as visiting fans).

Of course you're right about having to change to the D train; as a Long Islander coming from Penn Station, I take the A to 125th Street from Penn instead of having to walk over to Herald Square to hop the D.

Both the Bronx County Civil and Supreme Courts are in the giant courthouse building on 161st and Grand Concourse. Makes it easy to bring over unruly fans.

Come now. There are a lot more terrible bands than just Fallout Boy and All American Rejects. Somoene could come up to Simple Plan. Then what would you say?

Just as bad. I'm waiting for a player to walk up to some Paris Hilton.

Going by this logic, if Bobby Jenks starts using "Enter the Sandman" this year and then Mariano somehow gets traded to the Cubs midseason he would have to give up his song out of respect for his cross-town rival, correct? Also, on behalf of Met fans who started the K-Korner in the mid-80's (or the "KKK Corner" as Phil Rizzutto once called it), I ask that all Yank fans bend on their knees to their crosstown natives (and rulers) and give back what's ours.

When it comes to horrible music, Fall Out Boy takes the cake. Nobody else comes close. All-American Rejects get points for putting songs nobody's ever heard on Madden, and Simple Plan is Canadian. Plus, both those bands are actually somewhat talented, even if they waste it.

After a couple of months, probably not. If he starts using it now, and by some miracle Mo goes to the Cubs in two or three years, then yeah, that'd probably be fair.

    This makes absolutely no sense.

Ahh, a wonderful topic. I don't pay all that much attention to the tunes, but I think it'd be hard to top this one, for a number of reasons. When the Giants moved from gloomy old Candlestick to their beautiful new ballpark along the Bay in 2000, they had one of the premier closers, Robb Nen. When he came out in the 9th inning, the place absolutely freakin' r o c k e d with Deep Purple's Smoke on the Water.

Several tunes should be used, if they aren't already. The opening riff to Heart's Crazy on You would be topnotch. (Click on the title to hear that passage.) It's one of the greatest opening guitar riffs ever.

For a little majesty, I love this segment from Track 5 of the soundtrack to Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.

Other nominees: Headstrong by Trapt, Rock You Like a Hurricane by the Scorpions, Welcome to the Jungle by Guns N' Roses

And why does it have to be walk up music? Why not something like this from Duke Nukem?
