    In Vero Beach

    i trained in vero beach in 1961 - one of the top third baseman of all time - o'malley tried to sign me but it would have broken up one of the greatest 3-4 hitting duos in history and i would have been the first of my kind - but la was no place for me

    in fact my whole team trained in vero beach in 1961 - very unique in history
