    Pujol's Autograph

About how much money do you think an autographed Albert Pujols official baseball is?

I just looked on eBay. There are some balls going bwteen 20 and 70 dollars, with the higher priced ones receiving no action. For the ones priced at BuyItNow, they are priced between 200 and a little over $900. The ones priced over $900 also have Mark McGwire's signature.

I'd say $50 to $75 is a fair price... $200 way too much...

My friend threw out the first pitch one game in 2001, and the ball got signed by the unknown rookie at the time, Albert Pujols. He was curious about the price, so I posted this thread.

Pujols signature has gotten a lot worse since his rookie year. I'd bet that if your friend sold it and noted that it was signed in 2001, it would go for more than a more recently signed ball.
A lot of people say this honor validates my career, but I didn't work hard for validation. I didn't play the game right because I saw a reward at the end of the tunnel. I played it right because that's what you're supposed to do, play it right and with respect. If this validates anything, it's that learning how to bunt and hit and run and turning two is more important than knowing where to find the little red light at the dug out camera. - Ryne Sandberg

Pujols doesn't sign verymuch and rarely signs on the sweet spot which makes his signature pretty valueable.

I bought his signature 2 years ago on a card that his wife was selling to help fight breast cancer. Good, readable sig. $25.
