The false reality is cracking.

What exactly was the wison question/fatal logic thinggy ?

Maybe I can address it more fully without showing my own clips or admitting to have ever worked with any hitters.

The question was this: How can you say, 'Someone please explain PCR,' which you have in multiple posts recently, and then reject any offer to have it done in person? I know you want it all done on the boards because otherwise why are we all here. Fair enough. But when I asked you a specific question, how to teach my players to hit, you responded with, find them a good teacher. If Steve is expected by you to explain his how's and why's here, rather than in person, than why can you not explain to me the process that I am to use to teach an 8-year old how to hit properly? I'm not proud when it comes to ripping off coaching ideas, if you can make it make sense to me, than I will use it and credit you to everyone here.

If not, I'm done.

I am happy to have someone explain PCR in person. Maybe Scott would be willing. I have refused to meet with others becasue I draw the line at their behavior. This Includes Nyman and Steve E among others.

The web is a place for stuff you can have a chance of comprehending on the web which is a lot of the things I have discussed, but not all.

Still, I think you are not well served trying to teach yourself,especially someone in your own family unless you have a pretty deep hitting background.

And just to remind the audience here ,Tom Guerry ,said he would not meet me until I publically stated I had no formal or informal relationship with Paul Nyman.

I then explained [in an e-teamz thread] that situation pretty clearly.

I did this .

Now he conveniently changes the standard.

Now its my "behavior".

My words that I use against Tom Guerry ------to point out his many inconsistencies , lack of understanding application and development issues, his relatively poor understanding of biomechanics in some fundemental ways, lack of an ability to LISTEN CLOSELY TO WHAT OTHERS ACTUALLY WRITE, his continuing to assert that he knows what I teach [when in fact he refuses to meet me or buy the material in question]etc,ect, AD NAUSEUM, ---my words are just that----words.

The fact that he will cite all kinds of hitting material ----that presumably he has bought,or at least seen----while not having seen my material should tell you something.

And the "tactic " he is employing here is obvious : By not seeing the material or meeting me ,this allows him to criticize and assert whatever the hell he wants to assert about what I actually try to convey and teach------then when someone calls him on it ,he can then say ,"well I am not really familiar with the material ,I'm just going by what I HAVE HEARD [emphasis mine.]

And what he "Hears" amounts to ONLY what he wants to hear.

He hears only what suits his biases and search for "universals."

Going back a year and a half ago, I warned him to stop talking about Setpro material in ways that amounted to "intellectual fraud " ,or deceit .

He did not .

And thats when I began to aggressively [with words-not behavior] point out his many inconsistencies ,his intellectual dishonesty ,his tactic of "plausible deniabilty", his inability to listen to others,etc.

I [and others] also began to try to point out that his obsession for "unversals", and quest to become THE internet expert on how to unify and reconcile all hitting theories [except mine of course],is not terribly helpful to most parents and coaches. In fact its just confusing or irrelevant to most.

And I am certainly not alone in my assessment of Tom Guerry.

In fact ,its nearly "universal".

Maybe thats a "universal " that the doc needs to investigate a little.

I think this should not be a media event. Let the two of them work through all these ideas alone or perhaps with Scott IMO. Steve's discussion with Slaught got turned into a media event and it was unfortunate for Don and unfortunate for any opportunity to learn.
