    Carlos Lee!

Just saved the game for the time being by absolutely ROBBING Encarnarcion of a game winning homerun in the 10th inning!

Ahh!!! I'm feeling like I need to purchase mlb.tv, as even listening to it on the radio isn't exciting enough. FSN is playing a "record" 135 games on tv this year, but still, missing two in a row right at the beginng of the season is a tough blow to a fan whose been waiting 6 months.

I think there's going to be many more great battles between the two teams.

I really hope Carlos Lee makes it to the All-Star game. He has a powerful swing, very good defense in my opinion. But what are his bad points? Fair batting ability and not as fast (obvious when you're batting cleanup). Congrats Lee on that amazing homerun. Even though I'm a Cards fan, it was amazing.

If his good power, Prince Fielder would hit the ball more often, Bill "Ryne Sandberg" Hall, and others aren't enough, with aces everywhere, then you're going to be badly blown out due to underestimating the "Brew Crew."

MLB.TV if for "Out Of Market" clubs, If you live in Wisconsin it will be blacked out regardless....when I lived in vegas, I purchased it and I couldnt watch them play Arizona, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Fransicso... and of course all the AL teams in that general area for inter league play.... But it was definetely worth it

Win Shares are now updated in season. Carlos is currently in third place among NL outfielders.

Wondering what people think about Carlos's future in Milwaukee? I think its pretty obvious that he's going to be due a big pay day after this season. My guess is the Brewers will not be able to afford the price tag, he will get/deserves. With that being said I wouldn't be against trading him to get something for him rather than just let him walk at years end. Hopefully something similar to the Richie Sexson deal which in my opinion got the Brewers back on track. So far I've been pleased with most of Doug Melvin's moves so I'm optimistic this will eventually work out in the Brewers favor.

    I am rather optimistic

I say that the Brewers will be able to afford to bring back El Caballo. It's obvious, they have to! Lee has been a solid player in his whole career and is just getting better. He is a power hitter and a hell of a defensive player too. The Brewers should do all they can to get Lee back. Lee is having an All-Star season so far and I think he is due for a fat deal.

I guess I can't blame him for not taking part in the HR derby. He has too much to lose, being in a contract year and on a team that's only a few games out of first place.
If he thinks it might mess up his swing...that's all I need.

Go get em 2nd half Carlos! 150+ RBI will be a much better gift than poking a few meat balls out at the All-Star event.

Carlos Lee is a very good player. The brewers coud still get by without him on the team I think. Prince Fielder and Rickie Weeks could cover for him.

I Hope The Brewers Make It To The Playoffs This Season

Okay, I love El Cabaio, but since everyone else is talking about trading to get him let's talk about what we would like to get for him if a trade is immenent?

I honestly don't know what they can get but I guess solid pitching prospects and a catcher would be first on my list.

I pretty much agree with you in what we should get and what we need to get. I read that Melvin said it needs to be a "hellacious offer", which to me says that a deal won't be struck and the organisation is going to attempt to sign him (but if he's signed who will have to leave to help pay for the increased salary?).

If the Brewers could move Jenkins that would take care of the needed savings.

The Yankees in the past have had at least minor interest in Jenkins and that left-handed swing would be nice in that ballpark. Plus, he's a hell of a lot cheaper than Abreu. And this deal wouldn't require the big names in New York's minor league system.

Corey Hart then moves to right field and Tony Gwynn takes over the fifth outfielder spot.

Of course, this is mostly wishful thinking. I wouldn't shed a tear if Jenkins left Milwaukee.
