CHICAGO -- Prior to today game vs. the Cubs, the Chicago White Sox reinstated right-handed pitcher Jose Contreras from the 15-day disabled list and optioned left-handed reliever Boone Logan to Class AAA Charlotte. Contreras will start this afternoon in the series finale vs. the Cubs.

Jose looked really good today. Its a shame he couldn't get the win.

He should rebound nicely. So far, I don't see a clean-cut leader for the AL CY, so if Jose can stay healthy, he's got a shot...

He looked pretty good out there. But it was the defense that ultimately let him down in the end.
