    Historical Tournament

A while ago I was going to do an elimination tournament to find the best team ever.

What I did, was go back through each decade and pick out each teams best year and put them into a league together on OOTP. There are obviously decades when people had multiple great teams, so there's runoff leagues.

I have about 300+ teams in this game.

    Round 1:
-Each league will be run on OOTP for a 162 game season.
-Some leagues have more teams, therefor more teams will go to the final tournament. The numbers aren't important right now.
-However, when I finished the fairest numbers I could come up with, I only had 126 teams.

    Wildcard Round:
    -As I said, only 126 teams. I want a 138 team tournament. So there's 12 wildcard teams.
-Wildcard rounds will be like round 1. Played out on OOTP for a full 162 game season. The teams that make it into the wildcard round, are the teams that were 1 spot away from qualifying for the tournament in the first round.

    Round 2:
-Now that we have 138 teams, there's going to be a tournament. Who faces who will be totally random using a random number generator.
-Each series will be seven games. Making this a long tournament. Some pitchers might get tired. I'll be using whatifsports.com for this portion.

I know this doesn't seem very exciting, so I won't lie. I'm just posting it here so I can write up some summaries of the tournament games and make everything look nice. But feel free to follow along and cheer on a team. =P
-Oh yes, my game uses the designated hitter.
-I'm using normalized stats that place everyone in the 1980's.
