Mrs. John McGraw's seat at Polo Grounds

You can actually see the seat she had at the Polo Grounds at the Baseball As America exhibit that is traveleing the country. It is currently at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan.

  3. I found this shot of a late 20's (?) Giants jersey on the web. I believe it's from John McGraw's Hall of Fame exhibit at Cooperstown.

It's hard to believe it would have been actually worn by McGraw, but it's a stunning jersey.

    Nice photo of the jersey.

Is there any information on where the seat was located? I ask since at one point I did some work for a guy in LA named Don Cooke, who owned KRLA radio. His brother, Jack Kent Cooke (of Redskins fame), had season tickets in Yankee Stadium, three rows behind the Yankee dugout, right next to the seat of Mrs Lou Gehrig. I would assume Mrs. McGraw had a similar prime location.
After 1957, it seemed like we would never laugh again. Of course, we did. Its just that we were never young again.
