Perfect Season/Perfect Game/ Unassisted Triple play- Which is hardest??

Which one of these three are the hardest to get?

Perfect Season- A MLB team goes (162-0). The Detroit Tigers have 60% chance of doing it next year.

Perfect Game- Pitcher allows no one to get to first base.

Unassisted Triple Play- Triple Play where all three outs are recorded by same player.

A perfect season is not only the hardest it is 99.999999999999999% impossible.

An unassisted triple play is mostly luck--it's not really "hard".

Mythical SF Chronicle scouting report: "That Jeff runs like a deer. Unfortunately, he also hits AND throws like one." I am Venus DeMilo - NO ARM! I can play like a big leaguer, I can field like Luzinski, run like Lombardi. The secret to managing is keeping the ones who hate you away from the undecided ones. I am a triumph of quantity over quality. I'm almost useful, every village needs an idiot.

I think we all know what a perfect game and an unassisted triple play are.

A perfect season has not happened for almost 150 years. In the MLB, it's, as Elvis said, 99.999999999999999% impossible. The Tigers have no shot at it next year, unless they feel like going back and playing in 1857. Where do you get these numbers?

There is no way that anything in baseball is harder than a perfect season, especially not an unassisted triple play, which is all about getting dealt the perfect hand (runners on first and second, no outs, runners going, line drive right to the shortstop or second baseman). A perfect game is harder.

Please stop with the useless threads.

    Thanks.

I'm even thinking they play a few more games today, and it might a little more developed today too

The Perfect Season by an incredibly large margin. The other choices are possible, a Perfect Season is more of a "fantasy".

This is what, the fifth dumb thread that this guy's posted in the last three days? He deserves it. Come on, there is no way that David Ortiz is better than Josh Gibson, that we need on Off-Topic forum, that a perfect season will ever happen, that the Blue Jays will ever play the Ottawa Lynx, etc.

I could have pointed that out, but I decided to take it easy. There were also a few other comments I could have made, but I don't want to get banned or suspended...

Just like with "Please, just go away, leave this board, never come back."

This is a ridiculous proposal. The Tigers don't even remotely have a 60% chance of going undefeated next week let alone next year.

How do the Tigers have a 60% chance of having a perfect season?
The only perfect season ever recorded in pro Baseball was the 1869 Cincinnatti Redlegs who went 69-0. That is not likely to ever happen again

No team is gonna go a full season unbeaten
Don't blame us if we ever doubt you,

Welcome to Fever R2-D2. Your sig is...well...interesting.

I checked bluejaysfan4ever's profile. He's probably about 18-19 years-old. He's from a small town in Ontario Province, Canada, and has nothing else to do but think(?) up these inane questions.

  20. Why are people critizizing the guy for making the thread when somebody voted for the unassisted triple play?

The thread creator owns that lone vote.

I am sure he really means no harm in these questions. I think we can enlighten him in a constructive manner, though, rather than criticize him.

What? No team will ever go 162-0.

Sure in football odds are a good team can keep up a good streak though 14-16 games all season long. The Miami Dolphins went 17-0 in 1973 (or was it 72). Maybe another team will do it again (maybe the Seahawks this year ). But even the Dolphins luck would have run out eventually if the NFL season was much longer.

But 162 games in a row in baseball is impossible. Why even ask the question?
