    J25nadroj2042,
you either gave away who you'll take next or it was a genius ploy to throw off the next 2 teams...you're 5 picks away...will dunn, wells (i'm guessing it's not david) or dye be there for you?

Wheres 538280? Wasp I believe you get another pick since we cycle through the order in round 3.

  10. #110
No, I think 538280 should go, and then me. That way he gets the last pick of the second round.

Again, what are the limitations to who can be picked? If rookies are being picked we cant do a season until around December because the DMB season disk will not arrive till then

well, at the rate we're going, we'll be still drafting in december anyhow...i had planned on picking rookies and prospects

also, are all players eligible to DH or is there a minimum # of games to qualify?

Can we pick players and have them play a different position rather than their natural position? EX: a 2B converting to SS

In Diamond Mind you can do this, however their defense will take a big hit, depending on which position they are converting from and to

Example: A LF and RF can switch and play about the same defense, a shortstop can not switch to a catcher, or they will have a past ball every game or so

I'll take Chipper Jones as my third round pick.

I propose a limit of you can not choose anyone who is called up August 30th, unless they have prior experience in the big leagues

That way people arent taking some of the Sept. 1st call up super-prospects in later rounds

Hmmmm... Baseball Mogul has the prospects, but DiamondMind is more statistically accurate. And then there's OOTP. I could probably get OOTP, as it's out for Mac. I have Baseball Mogul 2005, but that won't work... what do you think? I had planned on drafting prospects and super-rookies too, which is why I'm asking.
