I came across the box score for the 1951 Opening Day and have 2 trivia questions:

1) Who was Brooklyn's starting pitcher?
2) Who was Brooklyn's lead-off man?

If you can answer both of these without looking them up, you belong in the Brooklyn Dodgers Hall of Fame.

I saw that game on a frigid afternoon. I know Oisk started against Robin Roberts. I would have to guess Pee Wee led off but I wouldn't bet on it. The Phils won.

I don't think there is a boxscore of that game available I know retrosheet doesn't have one. Billy Cox lead off for the Dodgers most of the time, even though PeeWee and Jackie should have been 1-2 but Dressen thought Jackie was better in the 4 hole, thats why I said Billy Cox.
