Question Ryan Howard or Jim Thome?

Who do you think the Philadelphia Phillies should have kept? Howard or Thome?
Howard by far, I say. He's only a second-year pro and has 80 home runs! He' salso got many good years ahead of him. Thome's best days may be behind him. He's played for 12+ seasons! Please reply.

I put this in the wrong forum. Sorry.

That was pretty clear at the time they traded Thome and now is, of course, blindingly obvious.

Ryan Howard. There is no doubt about it. Thome is a player on the way out and statistics reflect that. Howard is good and will be for many more years.... Thome might have one or two more. Howard is the clear choice.

Have to go all the way back to Albert Pujols in 2004.

Kiner and Mathews are the only other ones.

He only hit 80 and he's in his Sophomore (2nd) season!

So when he hits 70 next year that'll give him 150 in 3 years!
