This is the third installment of these position player polls. To vote, simple list the top 10 second basemen that are active in order from best (#1) to least (#10). The results will be tabulated and will be announced on Nov 27 @ 9 PM or 2 days after the last ballot was submitted. The points will be alloted based on the player's ranking on each list (1st place gets 10, 2nd gets 9, 3rd gets 8, etc.) Remember, YOU MUST LIST 10!!!!!
Although you may vote for whomever you see fit try to rate players in either performance in the 2006 mlb season or performance in the last 3-4 years. However, you may can use career performance as a factor. Also, be sure to look at both offensive and defensive performance.

). He hit .286 this year, with just seven less doubles, which is easily made up by his edge of 31 SBs. And think back to a year ago. Is there one among you who would NOT rate Roberts the best 2Bman in the AL, if not the whole MLB? Of course, if you want it to be just this season, then Cano beats out Roberts by a little bit. But Roberts, once he recovered from his injury, was as good, and probably better, than Cano. I'd take the 36 SBs over the 5 from my 2Bman any day, as well as the 55 to 18 BBs. There isn't really any comparison. I'd take Cano if they both played OF, but from a 2B, I'm looking for good ability to take pitches, speed, and defense. Hitting is just a bonus. I'd still take Roberts as a 2B. You can disagree, but that's my unwavering opinion.
