I just cannot for the life of me see why people want to put Smokey Joe Wood in the Hall of Fame. The guy had, at best, 3 good seasons, and only 1 historic one.

I don't get it either. He was a great pitcher for one year, a very good pitcher for two more, and only an okay outfielder afterwards. He doesn't belong within a mile of the HOF IMO.Originally Posted by iPod
