Did you know, that 185,000 bags of Thomas Edison's Portland Cement
went into building the new (1923) concrete and steel Yankee Stadium.
On opening day April 18, 1923, two men were arrested for scalping tickets.
One offers his $1.10 grandstand seat for $1.25, another $1.50 for his.
Both unable to post $500 bond and spend night in jail.
