Someone asked me if I could find out the date of a fight at home plate 1980-1984 betweem Carter and Buckner .. someone on another board recalls Carter making reference to this in his book "A Dream Season" about the '86 Mets - talking about getting into a dust-up with Buckner when Buckner was a Cub and Carter was an Expo (early eighties) had to do with what Carter perceived to be a dirty slide into homeplate on Buckner's part. Any help is approciated.
