With Joe West's small strike zone, Glavine had to be perfect. Not so. 4-0 already.

    Anyone Nats fans today? LOL

Glavine needs to go now. This could be his last career start and he is pitching like crap.

    Get El Duque in.

    7-0 first inning. Wow.

Better hope for a Bergmann gem today. That or Dontrelle unravels worse than Glavine.

What a disgrace to come out in the most important game of the year and lay an egg.

We haven't had a grand slam all year. Today would be a good day for one.

Here's to Jamie Moyer pitching worse.

I never want to see Glavine in a Mets uniform ever again. Ever. He has the biggest start of the year and he gives us his worst start of his career. Garbage. Absolute garbage. He deserves all 7 of those runs.

Damn, that was close to a grand slam. Oh well, Dontrelle is rattled. Today seems like a crazy day. Watch Mota, Sele, Schoeneweis, Smith, Feliciano, Wagner not allow a hit the rest of the game.

Could we forward that to Tom Glavine as well?

it seems that during this whole month that when ever the mets are behind in a game they die and don't seem to be able to do anything to catch. they were sure given the chance early in the game today. lets hope they at least look like they can get back into the game even if they don't win.

I remember earlier in the year that they would always lose if they didn't score first.

This game is over. Get rid of Glavine. I was ripped at the the beginning when I told my friends El Duque was better than Glavine. nobody believed me.

If the Rockies win and Padres lose, Holliday has a chance.

Gary said it best. The Mets fans put a lot of passion into the team and sometimes it's not returned.

This team had no spark, no fight, no guts, nothing. They were flat and coasted like they were going to win this division no matter what. They did not deserve a playoff berth. They really did it.

I hope Omar is calling the Twins right now.

As hard as it is for me to say, the Mets thoroughly deserved this outcome. Period.
    Put it in the books.

That's who I want. I want a guy under 35 who can go more than 5 innings and wants to win more than anything.

I know. It's unfortunate it had to be that way.

ESPN will have to make a new "Who's Number 1? Biggest Chokes"

The players got too cocky and thought they had it in the bag. Glavine didn't help today. Sorry Mets fans.
