Moises Alou passed me over 3x and Jose Reyes 2x. Pretty good other than the outcome of the game.

Ryan Wagner Washington Nats 2/2
I tried to get Syephen Drew but he wouldn't sign before or after game. Its really hard to get graphs in D.C.
"The one constant through all the years has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It's been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt, and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game, is a part of our past. It reminds us of all that once was good, and what could be again."

It was a while ago (1996), but Pete Harnisch 2/2 and Jason Isringhausen 1/1. I've not tried in a game since then!
"They put me in the Hall of Fame? They must really be scraping the bottom of the barrel!"
-Eppa Rixey, upon learning of his induction to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Motafy (MO-ta-fy) vt. -fied, -fying 1. For a pitcher to melt down in a big game situation; to become like Guillermo Mota. 2. The transformation of a good pitcher into one of Guillermo Mota's caliber.
In 1991 at Wrigley I got Greg Maddux, Chuck McLeroy, and Les Lancaster after the game on a program
Everybody's always talking about my strikeouts. If I played everyday, I could strike out maybe 400 times. I have no idea how many home runs I could hit if I played every day. I've never played every day." - Dave Kingman, 1975

When the Cardinals sent Rick Ankiel down to the low minors, they first sent him to my town - Johnson City, TN. He would get mobbed at the end of every game. He'd complain about it, saying he just wanted to go get something to eat. But he'd sign for almost everybody there. He signed my ticket one night.
The season after he left, they gave away his bobblehead before a game, in a Johnson City jersey. It was strange timing, since he was long gone. There was a long line of people wanting to get in and get a bobblehead, then most of them just turned around and walked back out.
I got Steve Stone's autograph at Wrigley. He was a little bit rude. The same day I got Willie Green's autograph. He was driving a real nice NSX. I wonder what he's driving now!
My whole collection is IP successes. I've never tried TTM.

I went to The Frisco Roughriders game vs Springfield Cardinals a couple days ago. These are AA teams.
Let me tell you that Frisco is a great park to get IP graphs from. Counting me, there were 3 collectors there.
My list of successes is on my site.
Colby Rasmus was a very nice person
Jon Jay gave my son and I a game used broken bat
Eric Hurley was ( and I hate to say this about any player that gives a graph) but he was a jerk.
Check out my site devoted to the greatness of college summer leagues.
I have got Roy Oswalt at a Astros vs Rockies game. I was very suprised that he was signing before the game
Astros/Cardinals
Jason Jennings 2/3
Dan Wheeler 1/1
Brad Lidge 1/1*
Chris Burke 0/1
Hunter Pence 0/1
Orlando Palmeiro 1/2
Luke Scott 1/1
Gary Bennett 1/2
So Taguchi 1/1
Scott Rolen 0/1
* I didn't have anything for Lidge, but a friend gave me a card. He didn't get Lidge, so I gave him the card back.
I didn't have anything for Trever Miller. Pence signed 1, but later came back after we moved over to the Cardinals side. David Eckstein and Jim Edmonds both signed, but I didn't have a chance to get their in time.

Went to Sacramento RiverCats (A's) @ Tucson Sidewinders (D-Backs)
Got these RiverCats: Chris Snelling, JJ Fermaniak, Jeremy Brown, Dan Meyer, Daric Barton, Kurt Suzuki. Brown signed my copy of MONEYBALL and we chatted for a minute or 2... He's one heck of a nice guy.
BTW, all these guys, except for Barton will sign TTM. (Barton is kind of a jerk)

Barton's an idiot. He said he would sign here in LV. I had a card and an index card, but I gave him the index first and he said no, then I said, "Can you still do the card" he said, "You already ruined your chances."

I didn't notice this thread before, so here are my successes this year...
Spring training success: Rick Langford, Hector Torres, Tom Filer..all baseball card blowups. Ben Zobrist and Brooks Badeaux...photos from 2005 IBAF World Cup. Hee Seop-Choi photo from World Baseball Classic. Brett Roneberg. blowup of him as a Portland Sea Dog and from 2204 Olympics. Carlos Pena pic from 2006 in Boston
Red Sox players (from minor league games @ Orioles & Pirate minor league camps) (all blowups) : Matt van Der Bosch (Portland pic), Craig Breslow (Red Sox pic), Kason Gabbard (Red Sox), Jacoby Ellsbury (Portland pic), David Bacani (Portland pic), Dusty Brown (Portland pic), Luis Jimenez (Portland pic), David Murphy (Portalnd and Red Sox posed pics), Brandon Moss (Portland pic), barry Hertzler (Wilmington Blue Rock pic), Zach Borowiak (Portland pic), and Adam Blackley (two pics from Intercontinetal Cup pitching for Australia)
Legends Of Baseball in Clearwater March 25: Mudcat Grant signed 8x10 blowups of his 65 and 72 Topps cards. Dick Drago signed copies of his 70 and 78 Topps cards
4/15 Lakeland Tigers @ Clearwater Threshers. Larry Herndon signed blown up copies of his 79 and 87 Topps cards
5/19 Had IP success at the Threshers/Sarasota Reds game. Brad Komminsk (Threshers coach) 2/2 8x10 blowups of his '86 O-Pee-Chee and '90 Topps cards; Ryan Jackson (Sarasota coach) 2/2 8x10 blowups of his '98 Donruss and Upper Deck cards and Brad Harman (Phillies prospect) 3/3 8x10 blowups of him playing for Australia in last fall's XIV IBAF Intercontinental Cup.
5/28 Jeff Jones (Tigers bullpen coach) Tigers/Rays game. Signed blowups of his Topps '81 and '84 cards; personalized one. I was hoping to get Leyland, Van Slyke, McClendon and Belliard (staff) but I was at wrong end of dugout
6/3Clearwater (Phillies) hosting Palm Beach (Cardinals). All are blowups of cards.
Brad Komminsk (Clearwater coach): Fleer '90
Steve Dillard (PB coach): Topps ’78, ’79, ‘81
Derek Lilliquist (PB pitching coach): Donruss ’90, Fleer ’90, Topps ‘91
PB manager Gaylen Pitts was kidding me about how I didn't have anything of his to sign. Not sure if any cards of him exist. I've yet to see any.
6/10 Dunedin Blue Jays @ Tampa Yankees.
Darold Knowles (Dunedin pitching coach): Topps '70, '72, '73
Luis Sojo (Tampa manager):Topps '90. '91
While Knowles was signing, some of his players were looking at the card blowups and laughing; they'd never seen old pics of their pitching coach. A few kidded Knowles about the mustache on his '73 card, that he should grow it back. Knowles said that his mustache would be mostly gray "like yours" he said as he pointed at me. I told Knowles that I was "only" 50 and he groaned.
That's half the fun of it...getting the guys from the 60s, 70s and 80s who are now coaches/managers in the minors to sign and seeing the young players razz them about how they used to look.
Note on the Sojo cards..they were Blue Jay cards and he was managing against a Blue Jay farm team.

Dennis Martinez used to hold celebrity softball games in Miami, I would say there were like 3 or 4 in total, from 99-01/02, to benefit poor communities in Latin America, the following signed their baseball cards for me:
-Orlando "El Duke" Hernandez, Rey Ordoņez, Magglio Ordoņez, Placido Polanco, Wilson Alvarez, Dennis Martinez, and John Rocker.
The following, I didnt know were going to be there, so I didnt have their cards on meand they signed index cards:
-Alex Rodriguez, Pudge Rodriguez, Pedro Guerrero, Cookie Rojas, Mark Kotsay, Alex Arias and Tony Fernandez.
-Tony Perez signed a 16x20 Hall of Fame induction poster
In different Marlins events, I've gotten the baseball cards signed by the following:
-Mike Lowell, Luis Castillo, Alex Gonzalez, Braden Looper, Mike Redmond, Jeremy Hermida, Josh Willingham, Reggie Abercrombie, Juan Pierre, Tod Hollandsworth, Blaine Neal, and Tony Taylor.
I also got a 22x34 2003 WS Champions poster signed by:
-Mike Lowell, Dontrelle Willis, Juan Pierre, Alex Gonzalez, Mike Redmond, Tim Spooneybarger, Blaine Neal, and owner Jeffrey Loria.
I used to work in a building next to Florida International University's baseball stadium, like a month before Spring Training, some big leaguers start working out there in the mornings, I would sneak out of work, and I got the following baseball cards signed:
-Danys Baez, Alex Sanchez, Preston Wilson, and Ruben Sierra.
