sneak peek at the rumored new Twins' road unis starting next year, courtesy of Twins blog Alright Hamilton. gotta love the Fast Times at Ridgemont High reference and the lack of pinstripes! love it.
The ballpark authority has the October monthly construction report up. Here is the link. http://mnba.avenet.net/vertical/Site...43C95A50C}.PDF
They stated in the report that the Twins are modifying the railing height on the terrace level due to sightline issues.

So they're ditching the "M" cap? I sure hope so. These look very classy. Would have preferred blue script over red though.
Also from the same link as post 3427, the Twins will be introducing Cream Home uni's. Total awesomeness.

The fall of ESPN is a story of what happens when a company evolves into a monopoly. The controlling interests in such a company would rather mail it in by hanging out on golf courses, golf tournaments and probably travel with their wives than stay in touch with the public and the tastes of the common sportsfan.
Really like the new away uniforms, but I'm not a fan of the cream color threads.
I'd prefer something closer to this for the home uniform, but make it a button up jersey, and drop the elastic waist for a belt.

Blue on grey. Tony Oliva in original road uniform. They had "Twins" on both home and away.
Pinstripes for home uni's.

your comment intrigued me, so I looked it up in the official rules
Rule 1.11:
(h) No part of the uniform shall include patches or designs relating to commercial advertisements
You might be right. I have no idea how strictly they're gonna enforce that rule. Is this (the one on the right anyway) considered a "commercial advertisement" because the little Target logo? Seems pretty tame to me

Well, there was no direct reference to "Citi" Field on the Mets' 2009 "Inaugural Season" patches.
No disrespect to you twins fans....i think you have a great franchise but i never dug the twins colors or uniforms i feel like they clash and just clutter up i would like to see them start from scratch maybe bring in a new logo. Any one else feel that way? The vikings have the right idea![]()
That was a good catch. I looked up Busch Stadium's Inaugural Season Patch it didn't say Busch Stadium. Busch is a corporate sponsor of the Cards stadium.
So I think they should cut that part out of the logo if they are gonna use that on their uniforms. But it could also just be the Inaugural logo they are using for the tickets. So I highly doubt that this is the uniform patch.
You guys are missing the best design of all. I came up with this. It uses all the innovations in modern design, and is not only a practical patch, but a work of art.

Hopefully the Twins don't get rid of the underlined M hat when they open TF, I like that hat.
Twenty Seven
The M cap is remaining for one of the uniform combinations.
Actually I think this jersey is going to have pinstripes. The patchwork on the sleeves might be a different arrangment as well.
Also, all teams are making changes to their bp caps.
may I ask where you are getting your information, Astros? you're contradicting what the blog post said
I've seen some official items. I do not think the blog has total access but probably just hints at details. They are pretty accurate with the overall look, but there are some inconsistencies with the pinstripes and patch work. Overall, I think Twins fans are going to be happy with the look of the players in their new ballpark. I saw the Citi Field stuff last year before lots of people on this site did and I knew what the reaction was going to be. I've seen all the changes for everyone next year.
