Angry Oh No! (The Sandlot 3 has arrived!)

Just when you thought the sandlot "series" was done at 2, and just when you thought "The Sandlot 3" would remain just a punchline for many jokes forever, "it" has arrived. Sandlot 3 will be in stores May 1st. (This is so unlike Disney, creating a classic, then making sequel after sequel until they completely ruin the original movie. I wonder what has gotten into them )

When I saw they were releasing yet another Sandlot, I was filled with dread. The first one was as great as it could be, one of the all-time best baseball movies. The second one was a total and complete joke, stuck on some romantic notion of chivalry and rocketry and some twisted three-way relationship. No magic, just strange cliché after weird cliché after scene stolen from the original.
Apparently, this one involves some kind of time warp and amnesia or something like that. Dreck.

It would be cool if they made a sandlot movie with kids today. I remember playing with my friends when I was in junior high and how much fun it was.

That's precisely what made the first movie so great, the joy of pickup baseball.

Um, actually 20th Century Fox owns the rights to and has released all of The Sandlot movies.

    Look everyone.

We have a genius in our midst.
The Cuervo Gold, the fine Columbian, make tonight a wonderful thing.

Well, they did take the trouble of creating an account. Hopefully for more than pointing out what they did.

I wonder what type of searching they were doing that actually led them to this baseball site. My nightime sleep patterns remain unchanged.

Perhaps you might look at the warm, welcoming response their one post was greeted with. That may hold the answer as to why they haven't been heard from again ?

    Somthing to think about ...

... and maybe do something about ?

My only respectful suggestion is to worry about your own posts and not really what others post or what action is taken upon those posts. When stuff happens, we will take care of it, without need of outside help. It'll make for a much more enjoyable experience for all involved. I have been on this site long enough to know a few things about the above type of situation and those involved, and I'll leave it at that.

    Carry on, everyone.

Disney has the broadcast rights to the movies though, which was why Disney was being blamed instead of Fox.
