Where was this picture taken from? On top of the RF scoreboard, maybe?

Has to be the right field porch, that overhangs the field.

I don't think so. Looks too high up and too much towards CF.

It is highly unlikely that the game is at 1PM on a Friday afternoon. Until it is otherwise announced by the Mets, assume the game will be at 7PM. Stubhub has no clue.

The letter that came with the season ticket invoice indicates the Mets will open their new home with a two game charity exhibition series with the Red Sox on Friday and Saturday, April 3-4. However it does not give times for either game. So the dates are set - it is just the times that still seem to be up in the air.

I know but the Yankees always get first priority in New York baseball. I mean given theyve been around for 100 something years it makes sense but still, I don't like it.

    Goodbye Shea

They paved paradise and put up a parkin' lot
With a pink hotel, a boutique, and a swingin' hot spot
Don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you got till it's gone

Odd structure. Why did they not put portals around the entire upper deck like every other ballpark? They only have ones behind home plate.

If they do not allow people to use those staircases connecting the upper deck it's going to take forever to get out of the place and I bet those will have security and ticket people restricting access for anyone who would want to access the other levels during a game.

Access in and out of Shea already looks superior in terms of the top deck.

That is not even close to the porch. This picture is from the perch on the access ladder going up the side of the RF scboard. There is no comparison on view from the porch, as seen below in one of my pictures from the summer at Citi. You're talking about a height difference of 100' from the highest point on the porch to the access stairway mid-point.
It is 38'8" above grade to the plaza atop the porch. It is 130' to the midpoint on the stariway. This picture would have been taken between 70'-130' above the porch view.

Island great to here from you.
I hope everything is going well for you.
I have to admit your were right on how close the fans will be at Citi/IRS field.
Have you noticed anything different since the last time you were on site?
Any word about the flat screen being place in between the RF porch and RF excelsior club?

Island, I have a question about the Prom Boxes. Does the LCD Banner get in the way for the first row? I think it was discussed earlier but I can't remember. How is the view from prom boxes?
