Bo Fields was never Queens Borough President. I believe Ms. Fields lives in New Jersey.

On the blog No-No-Hitters.com the blogger was with a relative who told him what the exact number of claps you should do every time the song was done, in a way that beats in a verse are done. Something like:
Lame, but then again, the relative is, or I hope is, less than 10!
Which makes no sense since 8+8+7=23Eight, eight, seven: My nephew Bryan informs me that the proper number of claps to do in sequence to the “Everybody clap your hands” cheer is 31 - or eight, eight, seven. That helps save that embarrassing 32nd clap.
But as I said, I hope this kid is pre-pre teen!

I would think that one WOULD be correct, Mary Ellen (the original model from 1965).
If this other model was done the same year, that guy must have been clairvoyant!! (LOL)
Again, I'm NOT mocking his art skills .... just his lack of knowledge of Shea Stadium seat colors.
BTW----This guy's last name is French for "One With Gas"?![]()

It's funny that you say that Richie because I emailed him regarding that oversight. He actually replied to me & asked if I had a photo of the seats from that era so he could fix it. I sent him the photo, he painted the correct colors onto the seats, and sold the model on eBay for $1200!!

That picture of the old time yankees at shea is great. I was there and I basically lived at shea during those years. Looking at that picture i can see myself sitting in the upper deck on a hot summer's day. me and the other 4500 people in attendance. ok getting too sentimental must stop....

Nah ..... that's OK, Rob! Just having a little fun over here.
I know the last letter was a "Y" .... but it looked like a "T" at first glimpse, right?!
I honestly was not sure what other letters were in front of his name, but knew there had to be more,
as player's names don't start in the middle of their backs.
Thanks for ID-ing him, though.

Ed Randall on the FAN now talking with a rep from Breeze demolition about Shea's demo. Too bad the FAN doesn't post audio from Ed Randall's show, just caught the end of this.
Edit: Actually searching the FAN site came up with some audio from him. I hope they put this one up.

Sort of...that was my Countdown Like It Oughta Be on Faith and Fear, comprised as a dream countdown, anticipating that the Mets would do a crummy job of commemorating Shea.
Check out the full FAFIF countdown here.
there was little grass and trees beyond the outfield fence also. i know he put them in to make it look nicer.
