    Plight of the Tigers

God, I hate losing...even more so, now that we fans have had a taste of the WS mountain...I hope we never go back to the days of 2002-2003..boy, was that brutal......No doubt, we are a streaky team..saddled with some injuries..and we can't afford to lose to teams like Boston and the hated TRIBE.
And loathe them, I do...I can't think of any other AL team that I dislike..the jaded Tribe..But I gotta tip me tiger cap to 'em..they come to play..something at times, we don't....perhaps it's time for MT.Leyland to erupt...?

Great teams who go to the playoffs and beyond...fatten their records up on teams like Kansas City, Tampa Bay, Texas, etc..and break even -or-win a few extra games against the likes of Boston, NYY, Oakland, Angels, etc..

Nothing gets my goat, like pissing games away to the likes of the Royals and Devil Rays..and rolling over for the TRIBE...ugh !!!!

It's simple..if you don't pitch, don't hit, you lose games...something this years Tigers has done..Middle relief, and no production from 1st base is killing us !!

hopefully, as the season wears on, the Pitching staff of the Tribe, will wear implode..so we can catch those jokers..

0 FOR 5 against Cleveland this season! OH FER FIVE!!!!!!!!!

Will it be 0 for '07? The Tribe & the Cavs are sticking it to us, and I am not happy. I remember when 11 runs won a ballgame and when only one person on the other team scored in overtime, you would win the basketball game.

I am sick of Cleveland; they are negatively affecting my pursuit of eudemonia!

C’mon now, when OSU was takin’ in the heart not once, but twice from Fl, I could hear the laughing from MI. all the way out here in Ca..

No one is askin’ y’all to love the Tribe, but ya gotta admit they’re simply playing a lot better than people are used to seein’ from them.

You can say what ya want now, but my guess is, the Tigers will be fighting for 1st place in the line for CC and Pronk at the end of the year!
The pitcher who’s afraid to throw strikes, will soon be standing in the shower with the hitter who's afraid to swing.

I was not laughing at the University located in/or around Columbus loss in football. An OSU victory would have legitimized the "Maize and Blue's" argument for a rematch. Florida suppressed those arguments, even though the Gators academic standards are questionable at best.

This Tigers' season reminds me more of 1997 than of the dreadful 2002-03 seasons, except with more experience on the team. Justin Thompson, Bobby Higginson, Phil Nevin, Raul Casanova, among other '97 Tigers, turned around a very painful 1996 season. Rookies and veterans helped improve a 53-109 Tigers team in 1996 to a much more respectable 79-83 in 1997, but it still wasn't enough.

It's just a matter of improving a team with experience and calling up someone with no experience. There's got to be a way to solve Cleveland - before they solve the Tigers for the rest of the season.

9-5 and 9-2 with Durbin and Bonderman getting the wins! After all the agony, two consecutive blowouts!

Those two games were a HUGE sigh of relief for me.

What kills me is that we can smoke KC, and then the Indians will smoke us.... but then when KC plays the Indians, the Indians win 1-0???!!!

KC won 2/3 against CLE last time they played.

And what's with us losing to Texas (the worst team in baseball) last night? That won't do...

Hell, KC won last night!!! WTF!

Losing to TX was b/c of the first inning. They started off hitting great. As you can see from last nights game, the Tigers werent happy about it either. lol.
