Cubs, what year is that video of Brandon Wood? He looks a lot thicker in that video for a guy listed at 6'3"/185 and compared to when I saw him a couple years ago at Rancho and even this year with Salt Lake and with the big club.

Practice Schedule
I thought I would bring this here as we have discussed several times.
3 coaches - 2 hours
PHASE 1
10 minutes Dynamic warm ups (I use Jon Doyle's Seven minute warm ups).
Fielding drills (Short field) (10 minutes)
a. Bare hand rolls
b. Glove rolls
c. Back hands
d. For hands slaps
e. 4-corner cross body (TS) drill
f. Underhand flips
g. Etc.
PHASE 2
Throwing lead -ups (10 Minutes)
a. Wrong foot drill pronation drill
b. High tuck drill pronation
c. High Guard drill pronation
d. Short toss
e. Longer toss
PHASE 3
Fielding/Defense (20 Minutes)
Coach 1. Infield
a. Short star drill throwing - We can get five ball transitioning with 2 players per position.
b. Star dill at positions with fungoes
c. Double play rotation drills
d. Infield situations
Coach 2. Outfield - Using a pitching machine and a cut-off
a. Fly balls to
b. Fly balls right
c. Fly ball left
d. Fly ball back
e. Fly balls in
f. Ground balls right, left, in and to the fence
Coach 3. Pitching (We rotate all our players through pitching with emphasis on our actual pitchers.
PHASE 4
New learning topic (20 minutes)
a. Base running
b. Bunting
c. Offensive plays
d. Defensive plays
e. Signals
f. Bunt coverage
g. Etc
PHASE 5
4-station Hitting (40 Minutes)
a. Grip and stance (one player)
b. Swing stick (Rotation drills) (two players)
c. On deck (one player)
Note: during this part of the practice we rotate everyone through every position and move them H-9-8-7-3-4-6-5-grip stick, etc
We give every player 10-12 swings and rotate them through multiple times. We fix problems off-line as to not slow BP down.
Coach 2. Hitting GB fungoes with L screen on 1B side
Coach 3. Hitting FB fngoes with L screen on 3B side.
PHASE 6
Game like situation

Has anyone see these sites? feedback?
The above site is by Jeff Cavaliere, who was a physical trainer for the Mets for I believe three years and still works with some of the active players.
The site below, belongs to Rick Peterson, who is a well known pitching coach and coached the Mets and Athletics.
Both of these sites, have some free articles and videos which I believe are very cool. They also sell their own products in addition.
