I'm on IE. It's only happend twice, but sometimes a website trying to sell me stuff pops up, in the place of the thread I just clicked on. Im on I.E 7.0.5730.11

There's your problem, Internet Explorer is a terrible browser.

Try Mozilla Firefox 2, it's much better, much much better than IE, trust me, I've been there and done that.

Firefox is more secure and its interface is more user-friendly than IE.

I have a popup blocker. It's a full-page ad, one that comes up and prevents you from going to the link you clicked on, unless you hit the "Skip" button. Basically it forces you to look at it.

I'm on XP. I would use firefox, but I already have all my favorites and add-on program on IE. I've only gotten the full page around 3 times, though.
