    ^ Ouch.

So they're re-sodding the whole field? Hopefully?

Already done. They re-sodded the whole field in 8 hours last week.
I see great things in baseball. It's our game - the American game.

Naa. That's just an "artists rendering". No 2nd led will be added. Hopefully they don't paint the facade blue like that rendering shows--looks horrible.

What about the THINK BLUE sign? It was gone when I visited the stadium last summer. Have they put it back yet?

The @MLBcathedrals twitter account claims the color scheme of the Dodger Stadium seats was designed to represent the ocean and the beach.

They tore that down a few years ago after it fell into disrepair. No plans that I've heard about ever putting it back. I never cared for it and I don't think many other Dodger fans did either--it kind of represents the FOX/McCourt era, aka: the Dark years.

I think they changed the LED ribbon board. The original one (installed during the McCourt era) was thicker.
Using a stolen chant from Boston Celtics fans whenever an L.A. team is playing up there just reeks of inferiority complex.

If hitting a baseball is the toughest thing to do in sports, then pitching must be the easiest thing to do in sports.

Really? That's odd. When I was at the stadium, the tour guide said that they were just renovating the sign and would one day put it back. I suppose plans could have been changed though.

They did that last winter when they added the new outfield boards. Every board in the stadium was replaced with new 1080p models. Nothing new this winter.

Well if they said it it's probably true then. That's the first I've heard or read about it. Curious, when was your tour?

Then it's probably on the level. If you had heard it under the McCourt ownership It would've just been lip service.

The Think Blue sign was taken down after it was destroyed by Santa Ana winds. It was beyond repair so they didn't bother fixing it.

They look great, are they going to do the tvs in the bull pen area like the yankees do for their obstructed view seats?
The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time.

It's a bar area with TV's that is accessible for anyone with Field level, loge or pavillion tickets

According to the Dodgers' website there are TV's there, yes.

That little fence in front of the bullpen seats seems to mimic the outfield fence when the park was new.

    That was the intention.

The players look like animals at the zoo.
It also reminds me of the seal tank at SeaWorld.
