    New Current Player League Draft

    Hey all -- I've decided that I wanted to get a league draft going. The draft will include CURRENT players, and a season will be simmed after the draft is completed and a week has gone by for trades and such. After that season has gone by, I can post the results and stats, then everyone can trade or add/drop players if they wish, then we can run another season. I figure we can do this for 3 seasons. We can also have a vote on who has the best team before we run the first sim.

    I'm thinking an eight hour window for picks would be good, and we can change it later if it isn't working. The clock can be dead from 10PM PACIFIC TIME to 7 AM PACIFIC TIME. Of course, picks can still be made and it would be greatly appreciated if you could PM your pick to me or another member to make it for you if you think you might not make your time -- in order to keep the draft moving smoothly.

    Im hoping to get some regular members to join the league, and keep the people with less than 20 posts in the league to a minimum.

    EDIT: I'm thinking about instituting a salary cap -- Maybe 100 Million? None of this is written in stone, I'd like to hear opinions from the peanut gallery first.

          if you have a cap of 100 mil, would these be consisting of the players you drafted's contracts in real life? if so, what site should we all use so there wouldn't be any variabality in contracts. Mlb4u?
