Williamsburg PMed me his pick, because he didn't know he could pick whenever he wanted. He has since signed off and didnt see my return PM. In the interest of making this a speedy draft, here is the 1st pick overall...

    Designated Hitter/1B

    David Ortiz

Yeah. Funny thing is I noticed that right when I typed it, but I forgot to change it. Maybe I should already be given the boot as commish.

Anyway, Ronnie is driving to California for the next DAY, so he said he'd call me shortly to make his pick for him.

Also, PLEASE announce what league you would like to be in, DH or No DH when you make your first pick.

I like DHs. Pick coming up soon.

EDIT: I hate having an early pick. But I'll take Johan Santana and his 10M contract anyway.

Now my second-round pick won't be nearly as good as the ones I was looking at for this one.

I think we're just going to make this a DH league. Everyone so far has asked for the DH league. Sorry to anyone who wanted a No-DH league.

btw, I know I am last so I won't have much of a choice, though I don't really care DH or non DH, but seeing that everyone wants DH, i'll pick non-DH.

Ok, JeffFrancoer has been skipped. If you are skipped twice, you are subject to having to give up your team if someone else wants them.

    WindyCityFan in on the clock!
