I know there are still three games left in the season, but I want to see how everybody feels/felt about this season. Personally, I'm glad that we stuck around for a while and it's good to see the Mets tank. But, on the other hand our pitching stunk at times and the offense couldn't muster any runs when the pitching was on point. It'll take some good moves in the offseason for them to get back to a division winning level.
How do you feel about the Braves 2007 season?

I think the Braves will go out and get a good starting pitcher nothing like a Tim Hudson deal but a good one and I don't think they will have to hurt their depth at any one position in the minors or majors to get them.Extend Prado!!!

Every team who underperforms has games that they "should" have won, and they "should" have never lost to in a sane world. But, as it is, the Braves tried to deal with all the problems and came close to succeeding. After the colossal failure that was last season, 2007 was progress.
The Braves will have a different team in 2008. What will remain to be seen is if they'll win.46 wins to match last year's total

Still, I can't help but fixate a little on those two Marlins games and Hudson's other amazing, wasted start, when he outdueled Santana at the Humperdome, only to have it thrown away by Wickolb.3 6 10 21 25 29 31 35 41 42 44 47

Like Sutton always quoted Walt Alston as saying: even the best teams lose at least 54 games and even the worst win that many. It's what you do with the middle 54 that determines your season. You have to take the long view of things.3 6 10 21 25 29 31 35 41 42 44 47

Overall, I'd give about a C+ or B- for the season. There's definitely room for improvement. KJ has been great this year. I had my doubts at the beginning of the season. Great strides made by Yunel Escobar and finally a healthy Chipper (somewhat). Smoltz, Hudson, Moylan had great years. Chuck took a step back in my opinion.4th Member of the Peter Moylan Fan Club!!!! :gt
