    Browns Pitching Record?

BTW, speaking of Browns pitchers, is William Smith Wright the only pitcher to spend his entire career with the Browns and have a career winning record? Seems like it. Other teams have career tenures of Walter Johnson, Carl Hubbell, Whitey Ford, Bob Feller and Bob Gibson. The Browns have Rasty Wright.

I'd say it's hard to find too many pitchers who played only for the Browns, since they would sell off any good players.

But, there's also Sig Jakucki (25-22).

Close, but not quite, there's Dixie Davis, 0-3 with the White Sox and Phillies in limited time before coming to the Browns, where he went 75-68.

Good find Dave! Rasty has a higher winning pct, pitched more innings, and didnt have his career chopped up for a decade, and wasn't a "wartime recruit", but Sig has more total wins and was on the WS team so it's a tough call to say who is the "Bob Feller" of the Browns.
