Fans are pretty friendly but I am sure someone will call you out for wearing the opposition teams jersey and hat. Nothing crazy though. The exceptions is White Sox, Cardinals, and now Brewers games. I've seen a fight break out during a Cardinals game in the bleachers. The Cardinal fan brought all these derogatory Cubs signs with him and in my opinion was just asking for trouble. But if you are just wearing a hat and jersey, most people wont give you too much crap. I don't think anyone would say anything if you were wearing a Yankees shirt and the Cubs were playing some other team.

With that said, don't bring children to the bleachers. I hate when people do that. It's filled with a 20 something crowd with lots of swearing and drinking.

Sorry, I am the opposite. I hate when people act stupid and use drinking as an excuse. I have visited about 20 or more MLB parks (past and present) and the Wrigley fans (and the Philly fans )were by far the worst. I don't want to really get into the ethnicity of drunk trouble makers but when I went to Wrigley in 1990 I was thinking 'how many of these yuppies would make it out of the old Yankee Stadium bleachers alive, let alone make it out of the Bronx after the game".

Comiskey, Fenway, and Tiger all had much better behaved fans . And the Chisox and Tigers both played in much grittier hoods. In fact, in 1990 the Chisox fans showed me a sign they had with them in Comiskey's last season and everyone wanted to go there . It read "Go back to Wrigley Yuppie Scum".

Don't sell beer in the bleachers and Wrigley would look like it did before 1984. Or maybe even the ghost town it was in the early and mid 1960's.

I have probably been to 25 Cubs/Cardinals games at Wrigley and the only time I saw a fight (twice) was between fans who were rooting for the same team! All were drunk at the time.
