Babe Warms Up With The Red Sox - 1916
Babe was a mere pup when this picture was taken 96 years ago. He would end up having his first 20 win season, going 23-12 with a 1.75 ERA.

Babe Hits The Links - ca.1930's
I did some digging as to Gerry Moore might be. Seems like a good bet could be this Gerry Moore, who was a well-known British jazz pianist that worked the London night clubs from 1922-39. So this picture might be from a golf course in England.

Meeting The Babe - Yankee Stadium 1930's
This fashionable young girl seems a little shy...but it must've been a bit intimidating meeting The Babe, on the field at Yankee Stadium no less!

                Babe Makes A Great Catch - c.1920's
In this case it's a nice haul of fish that Babe and his fishing buddies have caught.

Bustin' Babe Warms Up - c.1927-28
Babe Ruth warming up on one of his many barnstorming tours after the regular baseball season ended. Lou Gehrig was also on this tour, but it looks like maybe The Babe was going to be playing first base for the day (judging from his glove).

You mention Babe possibly playing first base in exhibition games. He almost always played the outfield but when the Yanks had to move on, end the game early, to catch a train, they used the Babe at first base to end the contest.
They would bring Babe in from the outfield to first base and it was almost always the same result. Now at first base his young fans were closer to him. A few would walk over to him, then a few more and before you knew it he was surrounded by dozens of fans. Unable to clear the field, game over.
I don't say this was routine, games ending early but when neccessary it always worked.

Actually,Lou played first base for the "Larrupin`Lou`s"that would play against Ruth`s "Bustin`Babes"during the barnstorming tour.Ruth played mostly first base for the Bustin`Babes as well as pitcher.Ruth loved playing first base,he said he felt lonely in the outfield and felt closer to the action at first base.

                          Of course, that makes sense.

                            Babe With c.1926 Nash Automobile
Babe sure loved cars...and he looks happy to pose with what looks to be a 1926 Nash Sedan (dated from the Canadian license plate). I'm not sure of the exact model, but it's similar to the Ajax Six Four Door Sedan in the ad (although Babe is standing with what appears to be a two door model). Here's a bunch of 1926 Nash two-doors from Google: 1926 Nash Two Door

The caption for this wire photo certainly isn’t referring to Babe & Claire, but to former President Hoover and his wife Lou Henry Hoover.
