Suwon looks nice. I always liked symmetrical ball parks like that - that also have complete outfield seating.

Is there any info on the parks that may be built in China? That is interesting.

The Dalian Baseball Field is being built for the 12th National Games of the People's Republic of China (2013 Liaoning). The stadium will seat 3,000. Another rendering:

The ballpark in Jinan was built for the 11th National Games of the People's Republic of China (2009). The ballpark looks nothing like the rendering I posted above:

Thanks for the info. I know baseball isn't popular in China but the renderings appear to be very nice. Three thousand seats is fairly large also.

thats a great bit of info CCG; thanks!

Do you know the capacity of the SCG? It's obviously much smaller than the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG is like the Wembley of AUS).

I don't know if NFL/MLB could pack 100K in Austrailia...

What is the purpose of the second diamond?
NO HANDBALL PLAYING IN THIS AREA

It's a youth field. In German cities, there isn't enough land available for ballfields so youth diamonds have to share the space.
