Keep Tex, Sign Bonds, Get everyone Healthy

Chipper, Bonds, Tex would make a hell of a middle lineup

Braves need a power hitting outfielder and Bonds wouldn't cost any prospects and hardly any money.

But even then, we need everyone healthy as well to have a shot

Chipper might headed to the DL tomorrow and Bonds in Atlanta would cause more action off the field than on.

    Bonds in the outfield? No.

His only chance is in the AL being a DH.

Yeah, I really hope Chipper is feeling better tomorrow.

And yeah, there would be alot of action off the field, but i'm a fan, and having Bonds in the lineup would be exciting and make things interesting. I'll tune in alot more.

looking at the braves line up without chipper can be rather boring these days.

Yeah, he would be more valuable in the AL, but he comes cheap and would improve the team's performance. Yeah, he'd be a below major league average outfielder, but we used to have Kelesko out there.

and if Bonds doesn't have it anymore... no big deal, just release him.

Good for you since I will be tuning out a whole lot more. I know it isn't rational but if the Braves sign him (which is a nice slap in the face to the greatest Brave of All-Time) then they can count on one fan leaving.

I am sorry I just don't see the Braves making the playoffs short of both the Mets, Phillies and Marlins all having their planes crashing before the playoffs.
    Extend Prado!!!
