    Roberto Alomar

I have an official ball signed by him just after the Jays won the 93 world series. It still has the dirt from his hands on the ball.
I also have a team signed late 1920's toronto maple leafs signed baseball (this was Toronto's pro baseball team name as well). Babe ruth actually hit his first professional home run against the leafs. Just wondering if any of you have any suggested values for these balls.
I don't have the exact year or names of the players on the Leafs on hand. but I will update the thread on monday.
    Cheers

A Roberto Alomar signed ball without a COA will probably sell for around $40 thats if its on a ROMLB. Theres is one on ebay right now for only $25 though. As for the Maple Leafs I had never heard of them, according to wikipedia they were a AAA team.

"The Toronto Maple Leafs were a high-level minor league baseball club located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, that played from 1896 to 1967. While the Maple Leafs had working agreements with numerous Major League Baseball clubs after the introduction of farm systems in the 1930s, they achieved great success as an unaffiliated club during the 1950s, when they were the strongest team on the field and in attendance in the AAA International League."

You should check for any of these signatures on the ball, They are players that played on the leafs and were inducted into the HOF. Im not sure what years those players played on the leafs but some of those signatures can be worth a good amount of money.

Twelve members of the Maple Leafs have been inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame:

    Sparky Anderson
    Ed Barrow
    Dan Brouthers
    Hugh Duffy
    Charlie Gehringer
    Burleigh Grimes
    Carl Hubbell
    Willie Keeler
    Joe Kelley
    Ralph Kiner
    Nap Lajoie
    Heinie Manush

Fourteen team members have been inducted into the International League Hall of Fame: John Berly, Bruno Betzel, Ike Boone, Jack Dunn, Luke Hamlin, Dan Howley, Rocky Nelson, Steve O'Neill, Eddie Onslow, Dick Porter, Dick Rudolph, George Selkirk, George Stallings, and Dixie Walker.

The COA says it was signed directly after the world series win. But it seems vague. I'm thinking it would be after one of the previous games, maybe not the clincher. I'm kind of at a loss of details on when he signed it. It just says it was signed after the jays world series win.

What kind of COA is it that can make a difference in price.

Unless the COA is from PSA/DNA, JSA, Steiner, TriStar, or GAI, it's next to worthless. The first two companies I mentioned, however, would be willing to authenticate the signature on the ball, at least, and their fine grading commands a premium during resale.
